Human skeletal material is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain, and this manual provides complete coverage of the articulated skull, the individual bones of the skull and the teeth. The skull is shown in a series of nearly 200 life-size colour pictures and 15 black and white X-ray photographs, with labelling on accompanying line drawings. The book is designed for lecturers and students of anatomy and dental anatomy, trainee head and neck surgeons, ENT surgeons and oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Specialists in A & E departments and neurosurgeons, speech pathologists and dental surgeons will also find the manual useful.

Not having a real skull the images of the book are helpful to produce a mental picture of a three dimensional skull.
