So insightful, really interesting. Balanced viewpoint that takes you on a journey through the mind-body connection and skillfully answers the questions it raises on the way. Covers 'stress' in the widest sense of the word i.e. the stress caused by repression of emotion even when outwardly you might not seem 'stressed'. Many real life examples that make it easy to relate to. Practical tips and guidance on how to manage stress/unwanted emotion.

I have Lupus and it is a real insight into my disease from a completely different angle...which was surprisingly spot on! Great book, a lot of help for me.

This book blew me away … anybody who has ever felt stressed and has a body should be made to read this. He is a few steps a head of the many GP's/MD's out there who like to tell you 'it is all in your head'. I look forward to a day when the western approach acknowledges the reality evidenced in this book and starts to address disease in a very different way altogether.

Lots to think about in here if your gut is telling you there is a connection between your illness/condition and emotional issues/ psyche. May encourage you to have therapy as well as medical intervention.
